Dr. Andres Alvarado
Medical Director
Dr. Andres Alvarado serves as the Medical Director for Havasu Aesthetics, providing clinical oversight and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. With more than 30 years of medical experience, Dr. Alvarado brings extensive expertise in both primary care and anesthesiology.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Alvarado moved with his family to San Juan, Puerto Rico, as a young child, where he spent much of his upbringing. He earned his medical degree from the University of Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, in 1993. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Juan before pursuing residency training in Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He later completed advanced fellowship training in Anesthesiology through Baylor College of Medicine.
As a local physician and owner of Riviera Primary Care, here in Lake Havasu City, Dr. Alvarado is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered healthcare to the community he serves. One of the few bilingual physicians in private practice in the area, Dr. Alvarado is fluent in both English and Spanish and is passionate about serving the diverse needs of the Lake Havasu community. His diverse medical background, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety make him an invaluable part of the Havasu Aesthetics team.
As Medical Director, Dr. Alvarado oversees medical protocols, patient safety standards, and clinical compliance, helping ensure that every treatment is performed with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and care. His decades of experience allow patients to feel confident knowing they are receiving treatment under the guidance of a highly trained and experienced physician.
Ashley Schmiedeknecht-Alvarado
BSN, RN: RN Injector and Aesthetician, Owner
Ashley Alvarado, RN, BSN, is the founder of Havasu Aesthetics and has dedicated nearly a decade to helping clients look and feel their best through personalized aesthetic treatments. She specializes in Botox and other neurotoxins, dermal fillers, PRP therapies, microneedling, permanent makeup, microblading, nano brows, powder brows, and advanced skin rejuvenation treatments.
Ashley began her journey in aesthetics over nine years ago when she founded Havasu Aesthetics. Shortly thereafter, she became a licensed aesthetician, followed by earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and becoming a registered nurse. Her unique background allows her to combine artistic vision with medical knowledge to create natural-looking results that enhance each client's individual beauty.
Committed to lifelong learning and excellence in patient care, Ashley is currently pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree at Grand Canyon University, with an anticipated graduation date of July 2027. Upon completion of her advanced practice degree, she plans to expand Havasu Aesthetics by offering additional medical and advanced aesthetic services, allowing clients access to an even broader range of treatments under one roof.
Known for her honest approach, attention to detail, and dedication to natural results, Ashley believes every client deserves a customized treatment plan and a comfortable, welcoming experience. Her goal is to help clients feel confident, refreshed, and empowered while maintaining results that look beautiful and never overdone.
