Medically Supervised Weight Loss
Semaglutide and tirzepatide are medications that utilize the functions of GLP-1 and, in the case of tirzepatide, also incorporate the actions of GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) to address metabolic disorders like type 2 diabetes and obesity. Semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist, mimics the effects of the natural GLP-1 hormone by enhancing insulin secretion in response to elevated blood sugar levels, suppressing glucagon release, slowing gastric emptying, and promoting satiety, leading to improved glycemic control and significant weight loss. Tirzepatide, a dual agonist of GLP-1 and GIP receptors, builds on this mechanism by combining the effects of GLP-1 with those of GIP, which further enhances insulin sensitivity and may have an additive effect on weight loss and metabolic regulation. Both drugs represent advancements in treating diabetes and obesity by leveraging gut hormone pathways to achieve better clinical outcomes, with tirzepatide offering a novel approach through its dual-action mechanism.

How does our program work?
Our program is designed to provide a comprehensive and accessible approach to weight management using semaglutide. Patients pay a weekly fee, which includes medication administration for those who prefer not to self-inject, as well as personalized weekly check-ins with a registered nurse. Each patient will also receive maintenance support to sustain their progress. We also offer an option to purchase a vial and self administer at home. Quick and convenient appointments ensure that patients can integrate their care into their busy schedules, and the program is supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including a physician and an RN, who are available virtually seven days a week. The program requires recent lab work, which can be ordered by our physician if needed, to ensure that treatment is both safe and effective. With this holistic approach, we aim to help patients achieve their weight loss goals while promoting long-term health and well-being. Consultations with our Physician may be booked by clicking HERE.
